Simple Ender Things

Simple Ender Things adds two new Ender related items to Minecraft: the Ender Pouch and the Ender Tome.

The Ender pouch functions as a portable link to your Ender chest. So you no longer need to carry an Ender chest with you. You will also not need to place anything as the pouch works like a second inventory just a right-click away.

The Ender Tome acts as a portal to your home base. You’ll need to obviously first set your home location with a bed. Then so long as you have the Tome with you, you’ll have a quick link back home. The book, however, is consumed in the process so it may best be reserved for emergency situations. It would make a great asset to hardcore gameplaying as you’ll have to limit how often you use a Tome.

It does have some negative effects, though, so be sure you have some food to replenish yourself on return.

Fortune Ores

Fortune Ores aims to fix the annoying flaw when mining blocks like iron and gold. Traditionally when you’d mine either of those it would give you a single block to then smelt down into only one ingot.

With this mod you now get ore chunks. These are individual pieces of the block and gives you a much higher yield with your harvest. You still have to smelt these chunks but it’s a vast improvement over Vanilla Minecraft.

The benefit comes in when you have an enchanted pickaxe with Fortune applied. You will still get much more from diamond and coal blocks but now you’ll also get many more chunks when you mine. This means you’ll get more than one ingot from those iron and gold blocks now.

And you can still use silk touch on all the ores as you normally would if you want the whole ore block instead. Additionally the mod adds several new ores that can be used with other mods for tools and armor if you have them installed.
