Doggy Talents

The Doggy Talents Mod adds a slew of new abilities for wolves/dogs in Minecraft. It gives you more training options for your pet and improves their abilities and traits. And it will even give your dog new markings when you level up.

The mod adds a point system for training your wolves and increasing their stats by feeding them four different tiers of treats. You’ll get more points the more your pet levels up and you can spend them in the interface that pops up when you right-click the wolf with a stick.

Here you can rename them and increase everything from their damage inflicted on enemies to the damage they take from enemies as well as how prone they are to attacking enemies. You can even train them to pick up dropped items for you and give you the ability to ride them for faster travel. There are many more trainings listed in depth on the forum as well.

The treats are pretty simple to make too and each one is required to craft the next level up.

You can even give your pet a bed and food bowl to make your him feel at home. When you right click the food bowl you’ll be able to put food in its inventory slots.

And for even more fun you can craft a throwing bone to play fetch!

Trapcraft

ProPercivalalb took over this mod for Stewiecraft, and it’s truly awesome for anyone who loves hunting (or annoying friends) in Minecraft. Trapcraft adds in a lot of new features that are very useful for crafty hunting or trapping.
The first new feature is a Dummy. It taunts all aggressive enemies that can see it except zombies (since they want real human flesh!). The monsters will attack the Dummy for its 20 health, and it will drop the dummy head.

If you like traps that involve cooking mob meat, the Igniter is perfect for you. When powered by redstone (could be a pressure plate if used in a trap) it lights on fire.

The Bear Trap is very useful for those living in the woods who want to catch stray animals. When it makes contact with a non-player character, it will hold the prey in place while they slowly die.

Spikes give you a convenient way to kill monsters that fall into your trap holes. They do damage to anything that comes in contact with them.

Need a way to hide your traps or spikes? Look no further than the Grass Covering. It conveniently covers up open spaces and lets things fall right through. For extra stealth, they can blend right in to the biome they are placed in.

“Gosh, those mobs will not fall into my trap!” Not a problem with Trapcraft’s Fan block. When powered, it powerfully pushes things in its path (including monsters) in the direction it is facing.

Now that you’re using Trapcraft to kill all of these mobs, you need an easy way to collect their loot. Voila, the Magnetic Chest! It pulls nearby items into itself and automatically collects them. Neat, huh?

All in all, Trapcraft is an awesome addition for both singleplayer and multiplayer alike. Good luck and happy hunting!
