Spider Queen Reborn

The Spider Queen Reborn Mod puts you as the Spider Queen (Or King) and gives a whole new spin on how to play the game.

First of all you can change what you look like with the Skin Changer Wand. Once you have your selection you now get to explore the world as a spider. You’ll notice significantly more spiders in the world of all different types and even human mobs that are automatically your enemy. They can, however, be made your friend by increasing your reputation with them by doing good deeds or giving them gifts, same with other spiders.

When you craft a web with 3 pieces of string in any orientation, you’ll be able to cocoon mobs and eat them for sustenance. This is actually the only way you’ll be able to refill your food bar even though you can still eat normal food. Although you can cocoon other mobs than humans.

What’s great is you can gather a group a spiders as your minions that can assist in fighting, carrying items for you and even exploding in combat. Spider eggs have to be gathered from eating cocooned mobs. Once you get the egg you can place it anywhere and it will grow into a spider after a few minutes. Depending on what mob is cocooned will aid in what special abilities the hatched spider will possess, like the boom spider that grows from an egg gathered from a cocooned creeper.

These allies will grow with you and help you when an inevitable war breaks out with the enemy queen and her minions.

And what spider mod wouldn’t be complete without the ability to climb walls. Using the webbing you crafted earlier you can shoot that up walls just as you would a ladder and climb to your heart’s content.

And one more important thing you’ll need to know is you can only sleep during the day now and only in the specially crafted spider bed as shown below. Just shoot web at the ground twice in each spot to complete the bed.

Mob Armor

Some mobs in Minecraft are ridiculously cool, right? Wouldn’t it be awesome to get to be a mob for a day? With this mod, you can!

Mob armors let you look like a mob and get some of their abilities! Some examples:

– Iron Golem Armor: Added buffs, eliminates fall damage, lets you become an iron golem, 90 more heart points
– Villager Armor: You can transform into a villager, some helpful buffs
– Pigman’s Sword: Has +8 attack damage, 1000 uses, lets you use “anger mode” as a pigman with right click, some more buffs

These mob armors are fantastic and have a lot of potential. You can use them in combat, for aesthetics, or just to mess with friends!

Minecraft Comes Alive

Minecraft is in no way a soap opera in which you are the main character. But wouldn’t it be cool if it could be? Minecraft Comes Alive is a hugely detailed mod that turns your Minecraft experience, both single and multiplayer, into an RPG in which you can interact with villagers in a whole new way.

Villagers are either males or females who look and act like humans. You can interact with them in a lot of different ways, like chatting, asking them to follow you, asking favors, and trying to be romantic!

You can build relationships (either good or bad) with villagers. Your character will develop his or her role in the village depending on how you choose to have them act.

You can marry villagers if you get your relationship high enough. Married couples can have children who will do many chores for you. In single player and LAN, you can marry other players and have children with them too!

Be careful how you deal with villagers though…wouldn’t want to mess up your chances of a healthy relationship!

Hardcore mode gives you a top-secret feature. Play the mod and find out what it is! You should install this mod if you are a fan of games like SIMS and other life simulators, or just really like developing relationships with people. And the best part? You can still interact with villagers as you could in unmodded Minecraft! Trades and other interactions still work normally.
