The MoarFood mod adds over 150 new foods to Minecraft. There’s plenty of new crops and trees to plant giving you a bunch of ingredients to craft different types of food and drink. You can even season your food with Salt & Pepper, healing up to 9 whole food bars with Seasoned Cooked Pork!
The mod adds 5 new trees: Cherry, Orange, Peach, Grapefruit and Lemon. The fruit of which can be used to make things like muffins, pies and juices. The new crops include corn, tomatoes and cabbage. You can also make cheese from butter and hot milk. Add some bread and steak and now you have a cheeseburger!
You can season just about any food both from this mod and what is already available in Minecraft. The seasoned meat will give you a little more healing factor depending on what you use. You can either use salt, pepper or both and the result is greater with both.
This mod is great if you wanted a more realistic grocery, market or restaurant. You can now fully stock your inventory and run your own Minecraft business. And I’m certain this would make for a more interesting Multiplayer server if you offer transactions to be made and hire some NPC villagers to work your shops.
